Germany - Europa-Park is set to unveil its newly refurbished dark ride, Geisterschloss, now renamed Castello dei Medici, on July 25, 2024.
Closed since January, the ride has undergone extensive updates to better integrate into the Adventure Club of Europe (ACE) storyline.
Originally opened in 1982 as Spukschloss, the attraction’s redesign will feature advanced theming inspired by 19th-century Florence and the mysterious Medici family.

This transformation seeks to modernize one of the park’s oldest attractions, ensuring it remains a highlight for visitors while fitting seamlessly into the ACE universe.
Geisterschloss’s redesign marks Europa-Park’s commitment to continually enhancing guest experiences through storytelling and innovative attractions.
The ride’s updated narrative will delve into the secrets and dark magic associated with the Medici family, providing an engaging and thrilling journey for all ages.
