The Netherlands - Walibi Holland (the Netherlands) is set to introduce two new single-rail roller coasters in 2025. These will be the first RMC (Rocky Mountain Construction) Raptor coasters in Europe, offering distinct experiences for different visitor groups.
The project, designed by the American manufacturer RMC, will feature two separate coasters: one aimed at thrill-seekers and another designed to be more family-friendly. The single-rail design is known for delivering more intense rides compared to traditional dual-rail coasters, providing a heightened overall riding experience.
The new coasters will be located near the current Goliath ride. Currently situated on a dead-end path, the Goliath area will be connected to the rest of the park, allowing visitors to walk from Goliath to the new coasters, towards the El Rio Grande water ride. The designated area for the new attractions previously housed the park’s gardening services and the Halloween haunted house Haunted Holidays II.
The thrill-oriented coaster will include elements such as steep drops, sharp turns, and inversions, catering to those seeking a high-adrenaline experience. In contrast, the family-oriented coaster will offer a milder ride, making it suitable for a wider range of visitors, including younger guests and families.
Updates on the progress of the dual single-rail coasters will be available through Walibi Holland’s official channels.
