Japan - Sanrio Puroland has introduced a new attraction, “Cinnamoroll’s Little Big Adventure,” which opened on July 12, 2024.
This attraction marks the park’s first new ride in 11 years, adding to the charm and excitement of the beloved indoor theme park in Tama City, Tokyo.
Cinnamoroll’s Little Big Adventure is a theater-based ride located in the Discovery Theater on the first floor of Puro Village. The ride takes guests on a five-minute adventure aboard an airship named “Discovery,” following Cinnamoroll as he becomes enchanted by a beautiful rainbow and sets off on a whimsical journey through the sky.
The attraction features Japan’s first dual-screen shooting system combined with motion-based seating. Participants use “magic wands” to interact with the adventure, helping Cinnamoroll and his friends overcome various obstacles displayed on large screens. The seats tilt and move in sync with the on-screen action, creating an immersive experience that engages all senses.
At the end of the ride, participants’ performances are scored, and the top five shooters receive a special reward: their photos displayed prominently at the attraction. This interactive element adds a competitive edge and makes the experience even more engaging and fun for visitors of all ages.
To celebrate the opening of the new attraction, Sanrio Puroland is hosting the “Puroland Neo Natsumatsuri” summer festival, featuring neon decorations, themed stalls, and a special parade. Exclusive merchandise related to Cinnamoroll’s Little Big Adventure, such as acrylic keychains, clear files, and commemorative can badge sets, are also available. Plush toys and other memorabilia will be released in November.
