United Kingdom - Thorpe Park is extending its opening hours on August 24th and 31st, 2024, offering visitors the unique opportunity to enjoy the park’s thrills until 9 PM.
This extension is a rare treat outside of their Halloween events, allowing guests to experience rides in the enchanting glow of the golden hour.
The star attraction this summer is Hyperia, the UK’s tallest and fastest rollercoaster. Standing at 236 feet (72 meters), Hyperia promises breathtaking views and adrenaline-pumping thrills. Riders will launch into the sky at over 80 mph (129 km/h), making it a must-ride for thrill-seekers.
Visitors can look forward to riding popular coasters like Stealth and SAW – The Ride under the setting sun. Stealth will catapult riders from 0 to 80 mph (129 km/h) in just 1.8 seconds, soaring to a height of 205 feet (62 meters), while SAW – The Ride will offer a spine-chilling experience with its beyond-vertical drop of 100 degrees from 100 feet (30 meters).
