United Arab Emirates - Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, located on Yas Island, is set to inaugurate the world’s first Ferrari Esports Arena on August 29, 2024.
This new facility represents a significant addition to the park’s attractions, focusing on providing an immersive experience for both avid gamers and motorsport enthusiasts.
The Esports Arena is designed with 20 Gran Turismo simulators, specifically configured to cater to a broad audience.
Of these, 17 simulators are intended for adult use, while three are tailored for younger guests, ensuring the arena is accessible and engaging for families.
Additionally, the arena includes three Formula 1 simulators that allow participants to virtually experience the thrill of driving a Ferrari race car on famous circuits, including the Yas Marina Circuit, which is known for hosting the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
The arena’s design is modern and sleek, with a black and red color scheme that reflects Ferrari’s iconic branding.
It is equipped with high-performance gaming stations, including professional-grade PCs and the latest gaming consoles.
This setup is intended to provide users with a seamless and highly realistic gaming experience.
Faisal Al Nuaimi, General Manager of Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, emphasized that the introduction of the Esports Arena aligns with the park’s ongoing efforts to diversify its offerings and enhance the visitor experience.
He noted that this facility is part of a broader strategy to maintain Ferrari World’s position as a leading global theme park, offering cutting-edge attractions that cater to a wide range of interests.
The new Esports Arena is expected to attract a diverse audience, from seasoned gamers to Formula 1 fans, providing them with a unique opportunity to engage with the Ferrari brand in a novel and interactive way.
The arena will be open daily from 10 AM to 6 PM, with access to the Gran Turismo simulators included in the general theme park admission, while the Formula 1 simulators will require an additional fee.
