Disneyland Paris to Debut World of Frozen and New Attractions at Disney Adventure World in 2026

France - At the 2024 D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in Anaheim, California, Disney announced a range of new experiences planned for Disneyland Paris. During the “Horizons: Disney Experiences Showcase,” Josh D’Amaro, Chairman of Disney Experiences, revealed that the highly anticipated World of Frozen will open at Disney Adventure World in 2026. This new area is set to immerse guests in the magical Kingdom of Arendelle, bringing the beloved Frozen films to life.

World of Frozen in Disneyland Paris will be similar to the Frozen-themed land that recently opened at Hong Kong Disneyland in 2023. The Hong Kong version is the first of its kind, offering an immersive experience where guests can explore Arendelle, meet beloved characters like Anna, Elsa, and Olaf, and enjoy themed attractions and dining.

The main attractions in Hong Kong include Frozen Ever After, a dark ride that takes guests on a journey through scenes from the films, and Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs, a family-friendly roller coaster that adds a thrill element to the land. While the upcoming World of Frozen in Paris will closely mirror the Hong Kong version, it will not include the Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs roller coaster.

The centerpiece of World of Frozen will be Frozen Ever After, an attraction that will take visitors on a journey alongside Anna, Elsa, and other characters from the films. This attraction is expected to be similar to the Frozen Ever After rides already operating at Epcot in Walt Disney World and at Hong Kong Disneyland. Both of these existing rides are known for their innovative combination of traditional dark ride elements with advanced animatronics and immersive storytelling techniques.

In addition to the main attraction, World of Frozen will offer a variety of themed shopping and dining experiences, designed to replicate the charm and atmosphere of Arendelle. Guests will also have the chance to meet Anna and Elsa in person during a royal encounter, providing an interactive and personal experience within the land.

While the gates to the Kingdom of Arendelle open, Disneyland Paris will also introduce several other new features at the Walt Disney Studios Park, soon to be renamed to Disney Adventure World. Among these are the Adventure Way promenade, a scenic path surrounded by lush landscapes that connects different areas of the park. The promenade will lead guests to new attractions such as Raiponce Tangled Spin, a family-friendly ride based on the Tangled film, and The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge, offering stunning views over Adventure Bay.
