Mirabilandia Unveils €20 Million Nickelodeon Land Expansion for 2025

Italy - Mirabilandia, Italy’s largest amusement park located near Ravenna, has announced a €20 million investment to introduce a Nickelodeon-themed area, set to open in 2025.

This expansion aims to enhance the park’s family-friendly offerings by featuring beloved Nickelodeon characters and attractions.

Diverse Attractions for All Ages

The upcoming Nickelodeon Land will immerse visitors in environments inspired by popular franchises such as “PAW Patrol,” “SpongeBob SquarePants,” “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,” and “Dora the Explorer.” While specific details about the attractions are yet to be fully disclosed, visual renderings suggest the inclusion of a new roller coaster themed around the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, a Dora-themed balloon ride, a large PAW Patrol slide, and a swing ride. The park’s management anticipates inaugurating this new area by Easter 2025.

Strategic Partnership with Nickelodeon

This expansion results from a collaboration between Mirabilandia and Paramount Global, Nickelodeon’s parent company. By integrating globally recognized characters, Mirabilandia aims to attract a broader audience, particularly families with young children, and enhance its position in the competitive European theme park market.

About Mirabilandia

Established in 1992, Mirabilandia spans approximately 850,000 square meters, making it Italy’s largest amusement park. The park offers a diverse range of attractions, including roller coasters, water rides, and live shows, catering to visitors of all ages. Notable attractions include “iSpeed,” a high-speed roller coaster, and “Divertical,” the world’s tallest water coaster. Over the years, Mirabilandia has continually expanded its offerings to maintain its status as a premier entertainment destination in Italy.

Enhancing Visitor Experience

The introduction of Nickelodeon Land aligns with Mirabilandia’s strategy to provide immersive and diverse experiences for its guests. By incorporating familiar characters and themes, the park aims to create engaging environments that resonate with both children and adults. This expansion is expected to boost attendance and solidify Mirabilandia’s reputation as a leading family-friendly amusement park in Europe.
