France - Disneyland Paris has revealed an exciting new addition to its Avengers Campus at the Walt Disney Studios Park.
Starting November 23, 2024, visitors will be treated to a thrilling nighttime spectacle, Doctor Strange: Mystery of the Mystics, starring two beloved Marvel superheroes, Doctor Strange and Scarlet Witch. The show will run until March 29, 2025, offering fans a limited-time chance to witness these iconic characters in action.
Billed as an “epic show,” Doctor Strange: Mystery of the Mystics promises to deliver a magical experience full of mysticism and heroism. While specific details about the storyline remain under wraps, Disneyland Paris has teased the inclusion of spectacular effects and action sequences. In a newly released concept image, Doctor Strange and Scarlet Witch are seen side by side, hinting at a collaboration between these two powerful figures from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
For the first time, Scarlet Witch, also known as Wanda Maximoff, will be making her live appearance at Avengers Campus. As a mutant with the ability to manipulate realities, her role in the show is expected to bring an intense and surreal dimension to the performance. Doctor Strange, the Sorcerer Supreme known for his mastery of the mystic arts, will guide audiences on a journey to protect Earth from otherworldly threats.
Avengers Campus: The Ultimate Marvel Experience
Avengers Campus, where the show will take place, opened in 2022 as a part of Walt Disney Studios Park and has since become a must-visit for Marvel fans. The themed area is designed as an immersive training ground for “recruits” (visitors) to engage with their favorite superheroes. The area includes attractions such as Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure, where guests can sling webs alongside Spider-Man, and Avengers Assemble: Flight Force, a high-speed roller coaster where riders join forces with Iron Man and Captain Marvel.
The addition of Doctor Strange: Mystery of the Mystics further cements Avengers Campus as a centerpiece for thrilling, interactive superhero encounters. The campus regularly hosts live performances featuring heroes like Spider-Man, Black Panther, and Captain America. With Doctor Strange and Scarlet Witch now taking the spotlight in this new evening show, visitors can look forward to a fresh wave of Marvel action.
