California - The construction of the “Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift” coaster at Universal Studios Hollywood is progressing rapidly, with significant advancements in recent months.

As of late July 2024, the project has seen the installation of new supports and the rapid growth of the station and show building.

The supports and track installation are ongoing, with substantial sections of the track now in place.

Concurrently, the station and show building framework are expanding swiftly, indicating a significant push to complete these essential structures.

Recent updates have highlighted the addition of the launch track and catwalks to Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift.

The ride will feature 360-degree rotating ride vehicles, a state-of-the-art technology designed to immerse guests fully into the high-speed, adrenaline-pumping world of the Fast & Furious franchise.

Announced to open in 2026, the “Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift” will be Universal Studios Hollywood’s first high-speed outdoor roller coaster.

It will be themed around the popular “Fast & Furious” film series and promises to deliver an exhilarating experience with advanced ride technology.

This dynamic and immersive ride will blend high-speed thrills with the cinematic excitement of the Fast & Furious saga.
