France - La Mer de Sable, the French theme park located near Parc Astérix, has exciting plans for 2025, as they prepare to unveil a brand new roller coaster.
This addition will be the park’s fourth roller coaster and is set to be a family-friendly attraction, aligning with the park’s focus on providing experiences that cater to all ages.
The new coaster will be located in the “Le Désert du Nouveau-Mexique” thematic zone, taking the place of the former Labyrinth attraction.
While specific details about the coaster’s design and features are still under wraps, the park’s director, Antoine Lacarrière, emphasized during a recent press conference that it will be accessible and enjoyable for families, highlighting the park’s commitment to creating attractions that appeal to a broad audience.
Construction has already begun, with the first groundwork underway.
The coaster is expected to open in early 2025.
Fans are eagerly awaiting further announcements about the coaster, particularly regarding its theming and layout, which are expected to complement the park’s existing Wild West-inspired areas
