Plopsa Coo to Launch New Maya the Bee-Themed Zone in 2025

Belgium - Plopsa Coo, a picturesque theme park located in the Belgian Ardennes, is gearing up for a major expansion in 2025.

The park, known for its natural surroundings and family-friendly attractions, will introduce a new themed area dedicated to Maya the Bee, one of Studio 100’s most beloved characters. The project, which represents a significant investment of €4 million, is designed to bring three brand-new attractions to life alongside a relocated existing ride.

The centerpiece of the expansion is the immersive Maya Zone, aimed at younger visitors and families. The area will feature three new attractions: a Swing Tree ride that simulates the gentle swaying of a tree, a mini Drop Tower for an exciting but manageable thrill, and a Wild Swing—a 12-meter-high ride that delivers a unique sense of flight without inverting. These attractions will be complemented by the relocation and integration of the existing Butterfly Flight ride, ensuring the entire zone offers a cohesive and engaging experience.

In addition to these rides, the Maya Zone will also include a themed dining facility, giving families a space to relax and enjoy refreshments in a setting inspired by the charming world of Maya the Bee. The thematic design aligns closely with Plopsa Coo’s natural surroundings, enhancing the park’s unique ambiance while offering new entertainment opportunities for visitors of all ages.

The addition of the Maya Zone marks another chapter in Plopsa Coo’s ongoing evolution. Since its inception, the park has consistently sought to provide a balanced mix of nature and adventure, making it a favorite destination for families across the region. Located at the base of the iconic Coo Waterfalls, the park currently features over 20 attractions, including a mix of rides, playgrounds, and scenic train tours. The new Maya Zone is expected to further enhance its reputation as a family-friendly destination.

As the park celebrates this significant investment, construction on the Maya Zone is already underway, with plans to unveil the new area in 2025.
