Santa’s Village Announces Closure of Rudolph Coaster and Upcoming Attractions

Canada - Santa’s Village (Ontario, Canada) has announced the closure of the Rudolph Coaster, a 39-year-old powered Zamperla roller coaster.

The decision, confirmed on July 26, was made due to safety and maintenance concerns, marking the end of an era for this cherished ride.

“It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the early retirement of the Rudolph Coaster. Despite our best efforts to keep it running, safety is our top priority, and Rudolph agreed it was time to rest,” the park stated.

To commemorate the coaster’s retirement, Santa’s Village will soon invite guests for a special event to take photos with Rudolph and bid farewell to the ride.

In the same announcement, Santa’s Village revealed that by late next week, all the new rides in the Wild Ridge area will be open. This includes the reopening of the Jumpin’ Star ride.

Additionally, the park teased a significant announcement about the 2025 season, hinting at exciting developments that may be related to the closure of the Rudolph Coaster.
