Germany - Serengeti-Park has received its new submarine, paving the way for the U-Boot Safari set to open in the summer of 2024.
The U-Boot Safari, the first of its kind in Germany, will utilize a semi-submersible vessel to provide an immersive view of underwater wildlife.
This new feature aims to combine adventure with education, giving guests a close-up look at various marine creatures in their natural habitats.
The arrival of the U-Boat marks a milestone in the development of this attraction, which is expected to open later this month.
Serengeti-Park Hodenhagen, located in the Lüneburg Heath in Germany, is the largest safari park in Europe.
Spanning 220 hectares, the park is home to over 1,500 wild and exotic animals from various continents, living in environments that mimic their natural habitats.
Visitors can embark on several types of safaris, including the Serengeti Safari, where they can see animals like lions, giraffes, rhinos, and zebras from their own car or a guided bus.
