Florida - Disney has recently filed permits indicating progress on the anticipated update of EPCOT’s Test Track.
The permits list Jon Richards Company FL, Inc., known for their work on Cars Land, as a key vendor. The update, dubbed Test Track 3.0, will incorporate elements from the original World of Motion attraction and explore future transportation themes.
Disney has not yet announced an official timeline for completion, but the permits suggest that the revamped attraction could be ready by summer 2025. Additional information about the project is expected to be released at the upcoming D23 Expo, where Disney traditionally shares updates on major developments.
The reimagining of Test Track is part of Disney’s broader initiative to enhance EPCOT, aligning with the park’s vision of innovation and discovery. The new version of Test Track is anticipated to feature updated technology and design, providing guests with an engaging and educational experience focused on the evolution of transportation.
