Japan - Tokyo DisneySea has announced the introduction of a new stage show, “Dreams Take Flight,” set to premiere on July 16, 2025, at the Hangar Stage in the Lost River Delta port. This production will replace the long-running “Song of Mirage,” which has been a staple at the park since 2019.

“Song of Mirage” debuted in 2019, captivating audiences with the adventures of Mickey Mouse and friends as they searched for the mythical city of Rio Dorado. After a six-year run, the show will conclude to make way for “Dreams Take Flight,” offering guests a fresh and engaging experience.
Premise of ‘Dreams Take Flight’
Set in an airplane manufacturing factory, “Dreams Take Flight” features Mickey Mouse and his friends collaborating to build an aircraft, with the narrative enhanced by various Disney songs. The storyline begins with Pete, the foreman, initiating the construction alongside his team of artisans. Each character assumes a specific role: Donald Duck as the painter, Chip and Dale as warehouse clerks, and Max as the electrical engineer. Throughout the process, they encounter individual challenges. Additional Disney characters appear during the show, reflecting the dreams and aspirations of Minnie Mouse, the pilot, and the artisans through musical numbers.

The 25-minute performance will showcase a diverse cast, including Miguel from “Coco,” Timon from “The Lion King,” Merida from “Brave,” Pocahontas, and Moana. Their inclusion aims to enrich the narrative and provide a multifaceted musical experience for the audience.
