Tomorrowland Announces ‘Tomorrowland Life’ Water Park in Gliwice, Poland

Poland - Tomorrowland, renowned for its iconic electronic dance music festival in Boom, Belgium, is set to expand its brand with the introduction of “Tomorrowland Life,” a themed water park in Gliwice, Poland. This venture marks Tomorrowland’s first foray into the water park industry, aiming to blend immersive storytelling with aquatic entertainment.

An Immersive Experience Inspired by Tomorrowland’s Ethos

“Tomorrowland Life” is designed to encapsulate the festival’s ethos of unity and creativity. The water park will feature a narrative where the “People of Tomorrow” have crafted a utopian world, inviting visitors to explore its wonders. The park’s architecture will merge ancient thermal bath aesthetics with modern water attractions, incorporating organic design elements to create a harmonious environment. Visitors can anticipate a variety of attractions, including a grand event pool with a DJ stage, indoor and outdoor lazy rivers, wild rivers, and multiple water slides. Additionally, the park will offer wellness facilities such as saunas, hammams, and spa areas, alongside dining options and retail spaces.

Strategic Location in Gliwice

The chosen site for “Tomorrowland Life” is a 6.7-hectare area in Gliwice, Poland, approximately 95 kilometers from Kraków. The location boasts existing infrastructure, including a large shopping mall with ample parking, facilitating accessibility for visitors. Gliwice, with a population of around 180,000, is the fourth-largest city in the Silesian region, making it a strategic choice for attracting both local and international guests.

Momentum Leisure’s Role in Development

The development of “Tomorrowland Life” is spearheaded by Momentum Leisure, a company specializing in leisure and entertainment projects. During the IAAPA Expo Europe 2024 in Amsterdam, Momentum Leisure revealed detailed plans for the water park, including a construction timeline of 24 months and an annual visitor capacity of 600,000. The project encompasses multiple levels, each offering distinct attractions and amenities, from family-friendly water play areas to VIP lounges and wellness centers.

Tomorrowland’s Expansion into Entertainment

This initiative is part of Tomorrowland’s broader strategy to diversify its brand beyond music festivals. In recent years, Tomorrowland has ventured into various entertainment sectors, including the launch of “The Ride to Happiness,” a themed roller coaster at Plopsaland De Panne in Belgium, and the announcement of a themed area in Holiday Park, Germany. The creation of “Tomorrowland Life” signifies a significant step in establishing a year-round destination that embodies the festival’s spirit of innovation and community.
